An 8 Week Programme on Understanding and Exploring Identity and Neurodiversity.

This is Carolyn Green's innovative 8 week programme which provides a new and unique perspective on identity and neurodiversity. This is a group course about understanding ourselves, our individual ‘Neurodiversity Signature’ and embracing this as a whole.
The Neurodiversity Signature looks at the underlying issues of neurodiversity and self-identity. For example, shame, guilt, procrastination, masking, perfectionism, rejection sensitivity, to name just a few.
Each week we explore the strengths and challenges of ADHD and Autism both on a general, as well as an individual level; opening up the way we view ourselves, where we are in our lives now, where we would like to be and what we need to help us get there. We will draw information and strategies from various perspectives, for example: Coaching Psychology, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). However, this isn’t a therapeutic programme aimed at mental health difficulties, it is a coaching programme designed to support self-understanding and reflection in a safe and supportive environment.

The course can either be online or face-to-face in Hertfordshire.

"I thought I needed fixing but it turns out I just needed understanding. This programme is helping me find words for things I’ve carried for years."
"Each week peels back a layer I didn’t know was covering me. It’s been both gentle and transformative."
"Group work terrifies me and I was really pushing myself into ‘stretch’ as Carolyn calls it. This group was so well held… low-pressure, inclusive, and respectful. I am learning so much just from hearing others’ stories."
